About Me

A native of Sacramento, I received my undergraduate degree from UC Davis in neurobiology and physiology. For medical school, I chose an osteopathic medical school, Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California, because of its holistic approach to patient care and the opportunity to learn manipulative medicine.

After medical school I completed my internship at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, followed by residency in Emergency Medicine at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield.

Growing up as a Kaiser patient and subsequently seeing the other systems of health care delivery out there, I knew that I wanted to spend my career at Kaiser. The emphasis on healthy living and disease prevention in addition to the resources available to our patients allows me to provide the best care possible for patients in the Emergency Department .
