Thank you for visiting my Home Page!

Welcome to Everyone.

Firstly, I wish I could meet you all personally for this exchange because I think the electronic medium can be very impersonal. It is for this social interaction that I, largely, chose a life in Medicine. In particular - Internal Medicine.

Apart from Medicine, my passions lie in the humanities such as history, literature and, other social sciences. I studied these deeply at my undergraduate college in Colorado. I realized that the best application of the humanities was through the avenue of Medicine. I sharpened my skills of combining the humanities with Medicine in probably the coolest city in the world: Chicago. Go White Sox!!!! I guess the Cubs too.

I also love the Bay Area. It supplements my other fascinations, namely those of food, music and, people.

I look forward to meeting all of you. Maybe we can speak in Hindi or Urdu or you can help me with my Spanish.

Health care for all…

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
