I am an Interventional Radiologist at South Sacramento Kaiser. I very much enjoy and value my profession, my field in medicine, and my relationship with my patients. An interventional radiologist is a physician who uses imaging guidance - X-ray, ultrasound, or computed tomography (CT) - to perform procedures that are usually minimally invasive, often providing treatment options that are otherwise not available. I am especially interested in interventional oncology, liver interventions, vein interventions, and peripheral arterial disease.
I completed my subsecialty training at Stanford University; I did my radiology residency at University of Rochester Medical Center where I served as Chief Resident, and fell in love with interventional radiology. I attended medical school at Albany Medical College, where I was provided with an excellent teaching environment. I also met my wife Sarah there; she is also a physician, trained in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and subspecialized in Sports Medicine. She also works at Kaiser South Sacramento.
Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and our rescued Siberian Husky, Mora. I also enjoy upkeeping our backyard, woodworking, and soccer. I hope to continue to explore what Sacramento has to offer.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
