About me

Born in Seoul, Korea and raised in Southern California, I moved to beautiful San Jose in 2002 to be with my husband and also joined Kaiser Santa Clara.

My experience in pharmacy has been broad, ranging from intensive care units to administration. Most of my experience has been in the intensive care units where organ transplants were the primary focus. I also have had the pleasure of serving our veterans during an ambulatory care residency at a Veterans affairs medical center in Los Angeles.

The experience in pediatrics has taught me much as a clinician, mother and a member of this community. I am honored to work with so many hard working, generous, gracious co-workers and families. As our pharmacy team continues to grow, I hope that families and other disciplines will know that there is a pharmacist close by for any questions or help that they may need.

Outside of the hospital, I enjoy spending time with my husband, son and daughter visiting various parks, museums and local attractions. When time allows, I enjoy reading, gardening, golfing and hiking.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
