Welcome to my home page!

My name is Dr. Lisa Shostakovich and I am a Hospital Based Specialist at the Kaiser San Rafael Medical Center. As a hospitalist I am an internal medicine physician that specializes in in-hospital care. My colleagues and I have the ability to provide personalized, detailed care in an environment that allows us to be very accessible and responsive to the ever-changing dynamic of the hospital setting.

I’m originally from the Ukraine and have been in the United States since the mid 1990’s. I worked as a registered nurse prior to my residency at the Santa Clara Medical Center. I joined and have been a permanent member of the medical group and San Rafael practice since September 2006.

Thanks for visiting my home page. Please take a few minutes to look around at the valuable links we are able to provide. Kaiser does a great job providing valuable web based information and educational material for our members and the general public. I’m proud to be associated with such an outstanding group of physicians and staff. Take care and maybe I’ll see you around the medical center.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
