My Practice Philosophy

I am so excited to be doing my residency in obstetrics and gynecology here in Santa Clara. I love working with women and spending time listening to their stories in order to help them make the right choices about their health. I look forward to seeing you in clinic or labor and delivery.

About Me

I am new to the Bay Area and can’t wait to discover all the wonderful things about it. I was born and raised in Hawaii, and then graduated from Scripps College in Southern California in 2001. Afterwards, I moved to Morocco to do maternal and child health education with Peace Corps in a small rural village. In 2008, I graduated from medical school at the University of Hawaii. I’m also working on my master’s degree in public health with a focus in social and behavioral health sciences. “What’s that?” you might be wondering. Basically, it means that I’m interested in helping people change their lifestyles and habits to become healthier individuals, whether it means quitting smoking or eating better.

My Interests

I passionately believe that preventive care is the best way to keep us healthy. In my free time, I love running, reading, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with my husband.

I want to be certain all of your concerns are addressed. If you forget to ask a question during your visit, you may leave me a message at the above telephone number. Either, I, or my medical assistant, will return your call.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
