Welcome to My Internet Home Page

I am a staff physician at the Emergency Departments of the Kaiser Permanente Manteca Medical Center. I am proud to be a member of such an outstanding department and the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Central Valley. I hope that we can always provide high quality of care and service to you.

About Me

I was born in Shanghai, China and was raised in Southern California. I obtained my medical degree at Ohio State University College of Medicine, Columbus, OH. My emergency medicine residency was completed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA. My medical interests include international health awareness and ultrasound. I was inspired and motivated by my family to pursue a career in the medical field.

My parents have been part of the Kaiser Permanente family for the last 16 years; our family has been continuously impressed with the outstanding services and care provided by Kaiser Permanente. I have wanted to become a Kaiser Permanente physician since my residency because I believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy and emphasis on preventative care.

I chose to stay in the Central Valley because of its people, weather and I can be close to my family. At leisure, I enjoy photography, running, cooking, reading and traveling. I speak English and Mandarin, Chinese fluently.

My Philosophy of Care

Listening to my patients’ needs has always been my priority. I believe only then can you provide the best possible care. I am also a big advocate of the team approach; with other emergency staff, we will make your emergency visit a comfortable and pleasant experience.

Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome. I look forward to meeting you and caring for you and your family when a medical emergency brings you to our hospital.

Select a personal physician - An important part of your health care experience at Kaiser Permanente includes building a relationship with your personal physician. If you haven't already selected one or want to change, click here to choose a personal physician for yourself or for a family member.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
