I have lived all over the country, mostly in the northeast and in the southeast and moved to California in early 2006 and have been with Kaiser since 2007. I am a lucky person because I love what I do on a daily basis. Audiology has allowed me to work in exciting and challenging medical settings, meet interesting people and work to improve the quality of their lives with the help of amplification.

I earned my bachelors degree in 1998 from Florida State University and my Masters degree in Audiology from the College of New Jersey in 2001. I wanted to deepen and broaden my understanding of Audiology and enrolled to complete my Clinical Doctorate in Audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. I earned this degree in 2005.

Having grown up with mild hearing loss myself, I know from personal experience what improvements can be brought to someone through amplification. I love to stay on top of the most cutting edge of technology and bring the benefits of new technology to my patients. I enjoy working with all ages because they each bring their own unique sets of challenges and rewards.

When I am not working, I love to read, hike, go to the movies, cook and spend time with my friends and family. I have truly enjoyed exploring the Bay area since we moved here. I hope to spend many years here and look forward to my continued work with Kaiser Permanente.

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
