My Biography

As a health care organization, Kaiser Permanente impressed me with its commitment to quality care and service. I had been a Kaiser Permanente member before coming on board, and I’d always been very happy with the Kaiser Permanente model of care. Here at the San Francisco Medical Center, practitioners exhibit a high level of expertise, and have have access to state-of-the-art equipment. Because of Kaiser Permanente’s integrated health care plan, clinicians do not feel restricted with regards to the types of procedures they deem necessary to investigate, confirm, or rule out, a specific condition.

In my practice, I have a broad patient base. I enjoy interacting with my patients, as well as the ability to effect referrals and follow-ups in a seamless manner. I find it very gratifying to realize that, at the end of the day, I have provided the best, most efficient care to patients.

Although the diagnostic process is necessary, it cannot exist without a context. To tell someone, "You have hearing loss" is not enough. It is my goal to work with each patient, and help them and their families understand what it means to have hearing loss, how it may affect their lives, and explore various means of allowing them to funtion as best they can with hearing loss.

As most individuals in my profession, I am continuously learning and growing as a clinician.
