My Biography

I was born and raised in Queens, New York and attended Hunter College in Manhattan for my nursing degree. After relocating to California, I began my career as a home health nurse in San Francisco. I came to Kaiser Permanente in 1990 and developed an outpatient case management program, which became a model for the Chronic Conditions Management Program of today.

I now work as a Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator, taking care of post kidney transplant patients. I enjoy providing direct patient care and assisting our members in finding resources to address their unique needs.

Kaiser Permanente is a great place to work, and great for our members, too. Our integrated system allows us to make things happen in the best interest of our patients with little bureaucracy and fosters excellent communication between providers.

In my spare time, I enjoy my family, hiking, and gardening.

Undergraduate Education: BS in Nursing, Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing
Certifications: Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator
Began Practice: 1973
Joined Kaiser Permanente: 1988

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
