My Biography

At Kaiser Permanente, I get to work with truly wonderful patients, and I take great satisfaction in watching them get better. I work with a terrific group of doctors. My advice nurse, Gerri Devine, can assist you when I’m not available. You may reach her at (415) 833-8181.

Our Psychiatry department uses state-of-the-art technology to integrate and personalize patient care. Although I thrive on being a generalist, my own areas of special interest include geriatric psychiatry, peri-partum and postpartum illness, cognitive behavior therapy, and the connection and implications concerning mental and physical health.

In my free time I enjoy watching movies, and spending time with friends and family. I make time in my day to stop and smell the roses, in one form or another. I take care of myself by having three meals daily—not skipping breakfast—and I try to eat vegetables each day. I am blessed with a wonderful partner, two boys, and a beautiful poodle named Siena. Welcome to the San Francisco Medical Center!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
