Welcome to my home page!

As a physical therapist, I've had the opportunity to work with many different client populations of almost all ages. Currently, I see members with primarily orthopedic and soft tissue problems; and much of my continuing education has focused on these types of disorders. I am a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and of the Orthopedic Section of the APTA.

As a physical therapist at Kaiser Permanente, I look forward to opportunities to keep our members moving at their optimum. If you are looking for some information on keeping yourself moving or getting more information on common musculoskeletal problems, please check my links on the sidebar. PLEASE, remember that not all exercise examples are good for everyone! Before beginning specific exercises for a problem you may be having, I recommend you consult with your primary or specialist healthcare professional.

Personally, I like to keep moving by exercising, dancing and doing a little skiing and biking (I've also had a few falls doing these things---can you relate?).

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
