Dr. Hristova received her medical degree from the Bulgarian Academy of Medicine in 1988 and was Director of Clinical Pathology at Community General Hospital in Ihtiman, Bulgaria. She completed a fellowship at the National Institute of Health in Maryland. She joined Kaiser Permanente in 2002 and is board certified by the American Board of Pathology.
