Welcome to my home page!
I am a relatively new Kaiser physician, having started only in May, 2002. Before joining Kaiser Permanente, I worked for Sonoma County Mental Health Services in Santa Rosa for almost 16 years. I am very proud to be a member of the Permanente Medical Group. I am very proud and honored to be working with such wonderful, competent and caring staff, particularly my colleagues at the Petaluma Clinic.
At Kaiser, I have been blessed working with friendly, caring, approachable and very supportive administrators namely, Marc Meisner, MD (my current Chief of Psychiatry), my former administrators, Chris Zegers, MD and George Prime, MD (retired Chief of Psychiatry for Napa-Solano). My only regret is that I did not join Kaiser Permanente sooner.
I work at the Petaluma Clinic from Tuesdays through Fridays during office hours. Our clinic is part of the San Rafael Department of Psychiatry. We offer medication evaluation/medication management services provided by Board Certified Psychiatrists and intake evaluation, individual and family therapy provided by our competent team of psychologists.
To my patients, please use this homepage to obtain some important information about mental health issues. I hope you will find them useful.
To new patients, Welcome to the Petaluma Clinic. I am looking forward to meeting you and to be your psychiatrist.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
