My Biography

The Chemical Dependency Recovery Program’s professional and compassionate setting drew me to San Francisco Medical Center. Our work environment is a highly dynamic one, and we serve a culturally-diverse segment of the population. Areas of particular interest to me include family and wilderness therapy, and treatment options for chemical dependency.

Kaiser Permanente’s comprehensive, integrated system is an exemplary model of health care delivery. Patients benefit from easy access to services and increased care quality as a result of our multifaceted treatment approach. Patients who are also registered members may also take advantage of various resources available to them online. For example, registered members are able to refill prescriptions, review their laboratory results, and send secure messages to any provider on their personal health care team.

My hobbies include leading wilderness expeditions, mountaineering, open water swimming, and training as a triathlete. I do participate in triathlons, and I enjoy spending time in outdoor settings and maintaining a contemplative practice.
