It has been a pleasure for me to provide your vision care since 1989!

My educational background includes a BA in Biology from University of Oregon; Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry; MA in Public Health Administration from Central Michigan University. I am certified by the National Board of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association, California Optometric Association and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Prior to coming to Kaiser Permanente, I was a Optometrist in the United States Air Force. My assignments included air bases in the U.S. (Colorado, Ohio and California) and overseas (Vietnam, Thailand and Germany).

I enjoy being a Kaiser Permanente Optometrist because I have the opportunity to interact with a broad spectrum of unique patients and to contribute to their ocular health. My practice philosophy is based on the "Golden Rule", complemented by my experience and expertise.

My outside interests include fishing, golfing and traveling to experience other cultures with my family.
