Welcome to my web page
I am a pulmonary and critical care specialist. I have been an active member of the Department of Internal Medicine since 1987, and am a Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians and a member of the American Thoracic Society. I was born in Brookline, Massachusetts.
By choosing a primary care provider for regularly scheduled appointments, you help us take better care of you. If you or any member of your family do not yet have a primary care provider, visit the Kaiser Permanente Choose your Physician website. We'll help you make the right choice.
If you need to schedule a follow-up appointment in the Department of Medicine, or forgot to ask a question during your office visit, please refer to the phone numbers at the top of this page. Visit our full list of departments and services for phone numbers, hours, and other information.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
