About Me
I was delighted to join Kaiser Permanente's Early Start Program in April, 2005. I have over fifteen years experience as a social worker (LCSW #21726), including serving as a therapist, clinician, case manager, vocational counselor, and program manager. I have worked in a vast array of settings: community mental health programs, psychiatric hospitals, school social work, SF County Jail, and Chemical Dependency Programs.
I am committed to upholding the individual rights of those most stigmatized in our society, and to serving those who have the least amount of resources available to them.
I am a native Californian. I began college as an art major but graduated with an BA in psychology, followed by a Master's Degree in Social Work. I continue to take classes and attend conferences to enhance my skills. I am married and have a daughter in her 20's, who is a practicing massage therapist.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors, especially the ocean, and I love to paint and draw. I also enjoy spending time with friends and playing with my Pomeranian.
