My Specialty and Why I Chose It

I am a psychiatrist. This means I treat patients with mental health conditions. I decided to do this because I wanted to help people improve their functioning.

My Practice Philosophy

I value clear communication and providing the highest quality care for patients.

My Tenure with TPMG

I started part time work for Kaiser Permanente in 2003 and have been working full time for Kaiser since August 2004.

Why I Like Practicing Medicine at Kaiser Permanente

I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because I wanted to practice medicine with other talented physicians in an atmosphere that has the resources that Kaiser has available.

My Professional Interests and Affiliations

  • Member of American Psychiatric Association
  • Member of Central California Psychiatric Society

On a Personal Note…….

I went to medical school and obtained an M.D. degree at the University of California Davis School of Medicine. I also obtained my specialty training in Psychiatry from University of California Davis. I enjoy living in Placer County.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
