About Me

I joined the Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa HBS team in August 2011, after 12 years practicing as a Pediatric Hospitalist at Marin General Hospital. Prior, I attended medical school at Columbia University and then abandoned the East Coast for California, where I came to complete my pediatric residency at Stanford. The vitality, professionalism and collegiality of the facility, doctors and ancillary staff inspired me to continue my career here at Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa.

As a Pediatric Hospital Based Specialist (Pediatric Hospitalist), I care for hospitalized and critically-ill children, including ER consultations and newborn infants requiring medical attention. Additionally, the privilege and honor of being an integral part of the team involved with delivering newborns is one which I value greatly.

My Credentials

Medical school Columbia University School of Medicine, New York, NY
Residency Lucile Packard Children's Hospital At Stanford, Palo Alto, CA
Fellowship University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle, WA
Board certification Pediatrics, American Board of Pediatrics

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
