About Me

By way of introduction, I grew up in Santa Clara, CA, ultimately going into medicine after working as an ambulance driver, and as a sales representative for a pharmaceutical company. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 1988, after attending Oral Roberts University School of Medicine, Tulsa, OK, and completing internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Loma Linda University Medical Center, Loma Linda, CA. I am proud to be a member of the medical group here at Kaiser Permanente Modesto where I presently serve as the Assistant Physician-in-Chief. When not in the office, I enjoy "home improvement" projects, as well as spending time with my family and reading.

Even though my clinical practice is limited to urgent care and hospital work, my goal, like that of my colleagues, is to provide the same care that I expect my family to receive. Our wish is that we can always provide the highest quality of care and service to you.

How to Reach Me

For appointments or messages: Please call 209-557-1650. I see patients by appointment at 3800 Dale Rd, Modesto, CA (Just north of Vintage Faire Mall).

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
