Work Experience: Guam Memorial Hospital: Mother Baby, NICU, Med/Surg. CCU/ICU. 1978-1979 Balboa Naval Hospital In San Diego Ca.: OB, L&D, NICU, Nursery, at times Men’s Ward. 1980-1983 Brotman Hospital Culver City, CA. 1983-1986: Med/Surg, Urology unit. Received certificate for Advanced Med/Surg. Valley Medical Center, San Jose, Ca. Neurosurgery Unit from 1992 to 1995. Kaiser Permanente from June 1986 to Present. Started in Oncology,Advice Center 1988- 2001, High Risk Pregnancy Case Manager 2001-2006, Hospital Discharge F/U Nurse/ Hospital Medicine Liaison 2006- Present.

Hospital Discharge Follow-up Nurse/ Hospital Medicine Liaison: Goals: Review discharge instructions Review patient’s status Review medications and follow –up appointments. Contact discharged patients within 48 hrs. Provide help for appointments needed. Expedite DME not delivered, tests needed etc.

My philosophy is to treat patients with respect as I wanted to be treated. Be a good resource for patients and colleagues.

Hobbies: Dancing, reading “how to do” things. My recent venture is shoemaking. Love to travel.
