About Me

I'd like to tell you a few things about myself. I chose medicine as a career because I enjoy interacting with people and trying to help them as best as I can. Medicine gives me an opportunity to help people at some of the most trying times of their lives. I enjoy meeting people from many different cultures, with many different viewpoints and trying to work with them in what would be best for their particular situation. I like to involve all my patients in their own care so we can work as a team to manage whatever problem they might be experiencing.

I think Kaiser Permanente is a wonderful place to practice medicine because of our integrated system and numerous patient care resources. I have ready access to all specialties and the patients have a vast number of health education, care management, outreach, and other programs to keep them healthy. I believe in health maintenance and prevention, and with our health maintenance prompts that patients can see on their registration slips, I try to keep all my patients up to date on all their health maintenance needs.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and reading.

I speak Hindi and Punjabi in addition to English.

I am currently working in the Skilled Nursing facilities and Hospice and I enjoy being able to help patients and their families through difficult times.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
