About Me...
I obtained my medical degree from Grant Medical College, Bombay, India. I subsequently did one year of internship at Flushing Medical Center, Cornell University in New York, followed by two years of Family Practice Residency at UCSF, Fresno, California. I am board certified with the American Board of Family Practice. When not practicing medicine, I am a busy mom and enjoy spending time with my family. I am an avid reader and love travelling and visiting new places. Aside from English, I also speak Hindi, Punjabi, and a little bit of French and Spanish.
Delivering high-quality medical care to injured workers and helping prevent work-related injuries are the reasons I choose to work in the field of occupational medicine. Having trained as a family practitioner, cultivating a close and trusted professional relationship with my patients is very important to me. High quality patient care comes first and all else is secondary. I like to think that I treat all my patients as I would a close family member in need of medical care. My biggest satisfaction at the end of a busy workday is the knowledge of having made a positive difference in my patients’ lives by answering their questions, educating them, and addressing all their concerns.
I love my work and am proud to be part of a dedicated team of workers in Occupational Medicine at Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center. My staff and I are looking forward to working closely with you to ensure that you receive the very best medical care for your work-related injury.
