I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine and attended California State University, Fresno for my registered nursing license and Master of Science Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner as a Family Nurse Practitioner. I am semi-fluent in Spanish. I also work as a clinical instructor with Sonoma State University's Nurse Practitioner Program. When I am not practicing medicine, I enjoy traveling, gardening, and spending time with my family, friends and my dog.

My Philosophy of Care;

I believe in caring for the mind as well as the body. Business and stress unfortunately, play a huge role in our lives these days. In addition to western medicine I participate in energy healing meditation, acupuncture, and visual guided imagery.

I am also a certified aerobics instructor and believe exercise is vital to our health and well-being. Thank you again for visiting my home page, your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
