Welcome and thank you for visiting my home page.

I’m Delia T. Quinley, LCSW21548 from the Department of Psychiatry. I primarily work in the Emergency Room doing psychiatry assessments and hospitalizations. Other times you might talk to me over the phone if you are a new patient or over our psychiatry crisis lines.

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City in 1993 with a BA in Psychology, minor in Anthropology. I originally majored in Physics for a couple of years until I figured out that studying the human mind is a lot more interesting than studying matters, or figuring out mathematical calculations.

I graduated from CSU, Sacramento with my Master in Social Work in 2000; Mental Health Concentration.

I joined Kaiser Permanente, Stockton in 1999 and eventually transferred here in South Sacramento in 2004. I have extensive training and experience in crisis mental health – from Kaiser Stockton Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP); Sacramento County Mental Health Treatment Center (7 years) and Sutter Center for Psychiatry (1 year). I also worked with patients with Eating Disorders for a number of years, particularly those with Bulimia Nervosa. Being a Kaiser provider this many years, I have always appreciated Kaiser’s full support on empirically-validated treatments and its continued support for ongoing education for providers.

I currently work part-time to enjoy my family and our new puppy – an adorable Shiba Inu. I enjoy my work at the ER. If I’ve seen you in the ER; I hope you are feeling better and much more stable. I am very much honored to hear your story and appreciate your openness in such a short visit.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
