About me
I chose to be a physical therapist as it allowed me to combine my interest in children, families, teaching, and exercise. Working with children and their families is constantly rewarding since children are always changing and exude positive energy. When I work with the child I like to include all members of the family, from the siblings to the grandparents. The child benefits most when they are having fun and the whole family is involved and striving for the same goals.
I like working for Kaiser Permanente because I am provided the wonderful opportunity to work alongside pediatric medical providers who are experts in their field and who care as much about children as I do. I am constantly inspired to go the extra mile to help others. Kaiser Permanente provides many opportunities to learn and develop programs to benefit our members. I love my current job because I work in many areas of Pediatric Rehabilitation, from one-on-one patient care, to multidisciplinary clinics, to inpatient care, to teaching other providers. I work with wonderful, intelligent, and compassionate providers.
When I am not working I love attending my children’s sporting and school events as well as playing with our dog. I enjoy traveling with my family and quilting. I also enjoy any kind of exercise.
I am affiliated with the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental
Medicine (AACPDM).

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
