My Biography

Kaiser Permanente’s comprehensive, integrated health care model allows clinicians to provide optimal care for our patients. Members are able to see their primary care physicians and specialists on one campus, and they may also complete their laboratory work and fill prescriptions here. We are a one-stop shop, offering an unusual level of accessibility to providers. I’m a firm believer in Kaiser’s approach to preventive medicine, and in our investment in keeping healthy people healthy.

The aspect of my work that I most enjoy is interacting with my patients. Areas of particular interest to me include alternative medicine modalities. I enjoy reading about complementary forms of medicine and their intersections with allopathic medicine.

During my free time, I practice iyengar yoga, do lots of walking, salsa dancing, reading, knitting, and playing with my cat, Stella. I also volunteer at the Women’s Community Clinic in San Francisco, which offers free services in women’s health care. I eat a balanced diet consisting of less meat and more vegetables and salads. I love to get a good night’s sleep!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
