Welcome to My Personal Home Page

Hopefully knowing a little about me before you come to the operating room will help make your experience a little less stressful. On a personal note, I am married to a wonderful British man who is the stay-at-home parent for our twin teenage boys. I have been a Kaiser doctor since 1989, joining the organization in Hawaii where I practiced for 13 years. I become part of the Kaiser family right out of training because I liked the concept of being able to devote all my time and energy to caring for patients not to the business aspect of running a medical practice. I came to the Bay Area in 2001 and currently work at both the Hayward and Fremont facilities. I enjoy taking care of all ages but my particular love is caring for children. As you can see from my credentials, I am also board certified in pediatrics and spent one year in a pediatric critical care fellowship. So whether you’re 9 days old or 90 years old, I am committed to making your operating room experience a safe and comfortable one!

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
