Biography:

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My undergraduate education was from Oberlin College. My medical education was completed at Drexel University College of Medicine in 2003. After medical school, I attended Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine for my Masters in Public Health. I moved to Phoenix, Arizona for my residency training in Emergency Medicine at Maricopa Medical Center, which I completed in 2007. I am board certified in Emergency Medicine.

My professional interests include disaster medicine, tropical medicine and toxicology. On a personal note, I enjoy music, travel, scuba diving and spending time with my family. My language abilities include English and medical Spanish.
