I am pleased to offer my home page as a means to introduce myself and to provide you with high-quality health information through useful handouts and helpful web links.
Hello, thank you for visiting my home page. I would like to share some information about myself. I grew up in Sacramento, California and went to high school at McClatchy High. I attended the University of California Berkeley in Berkley, California for undergraduate school and studied Molecular and Cell Biology and minored in Anthropology.
After attending the University of California, Berkeley, I decided that I wanted to go to medical school. I attended the University of California San Diego in San Diego, California and completed my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I chose Internal Medicine because I wanted a broad scope of knowledge with which I can help people and felt it was a field that I would make the most impact in. I chose Hospital Medicine specifically because I like the acuteness involved in the care of hospitalized patients.
On a more personal level, I was born in Vietnam but I am Chinese. I came to the United States when I was just 2 years old. I speak conversational Cantonese. I have lived in Sacramento with my family for most of my life. My interests include basketball, outdoor activities (such as hiking, biking), home theater electronics, computers, and consumer electronics. My favorite professional sports teams are the Sacramento Kings and the San Francisco 49ers.
