Working in outpatient hand therapy to assist patient in maximizing functional use of their hands and upper extremity after injury.

Background

I received my bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from SJSU and have enjoyed working as a hand therapist since my internship in 1997.

My hand therapy background includes: Fritter & Shultz Physical and Occupational Therapy, Morgan Hill, CA Lucille Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford, Palo Alto, CA PRN, Rehab Outcome, San Jose, CA

I have also had the opportunity to work in hospital settings at Saint Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy and Lucille Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto. I spent one year working with Geriatric patients at Advanced Medical Center in San Jose, CA and one year in Home Health Care for the Visiting Nurses Association of CA.

When faced with an injury keep your eye on your goal, maintain a positive attitude, and put forth the effort it takes to get the results you want.

Personal Interests

Hiking, Biking, Yoga, Gardening and Gourmet cooking.
