Why I became a doctor

I can think of no other profession that I would rather dedicate my life to because it gives me the opportunity to help those who are in need.

Why I chose the specialty of Anesthesiology

I enjoy being able to help a person become comfortable, both mentally and physically, throughout the entire experience of having an operation, from the time I meet them in the clinic, in the pre-operative area, during the operation, and after surgery in our recovery room. This is especially important because having surgery is such an anxious time in their life.

Kaiser Permanente provides healthcare the way it should be provided and I believe it is the future of how healthcare will be provided in America.
