My Biography

This page contains information about my background in Diagnostic Radiology, along with additional resources to provide answers about services provided by the Radiology Department.

I have been at the Redwood City facility for 16 years. I have been board certified in Diagnostic Radiology since 1985, and have subspecialty training in body imaging (CT and Ultrasound). I went into Radiology because it offers a wide variety of different kinds of professional interactions, multiple different procedures, and involvement in the care of patients with many different illnesses. I enjoy practicing medicine in a system where Radiologists have a central role in decisions regarding which diagnostic imaging examinations are appropriate for a given set of clinical parameters.

I am a member of the Radiological Society of North American, the California Medical Association, and the San Mateo County Medical Association. In my spare time I enjoy music and movies.

If you would like to find out more about Radiology, the panel on the left side of this page contains links to general information about many of the diagnosic tests and procedures we do in our department. At the bottom of the "Learn More About Radiology" page there is a link to the patient information web site of the Radiologic Society of North America.
