Welcome to my home page!
I’ve created this page so you have a chance to learn more about me. In addition, the links to the left offer you quick access to some sites that will help you learn more about physical therapy topics.
About me
A major influence on choosing this career was dealing with my own injuries I sustained as an athlete in high school and college, and going through the recovery process. I feel great that as a physical therapist I get to help people return to the activities they need to complete (i.e. activities of daily living) or want to complete (recreational activities or sports).
Kaiser Permanente offers many opportunities to improve my skills as a Physical Therapist by sponsoring or funding continuing education courses for me, which ultimately benefits my patients.
I try to empower my patients and give them the tools necessary to improve their functioning. My main interests are in orthopedics, manual therapy, and sports rehabilitation for all ages.
I enjoy hiking, biking (road and mountain), running, and compete in sprint triathlons occasionally. I also enjoy entering races for a number of charitable causes, and I am a Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist.
My education and credentials:
| Undergraduate Degree | BS in Exercise Science, University of California, Davis |
| Physical Therapy Education | MPT from Mount St. Mary's College, Los Angeles |
| Licensure | Physical Therapy Board of California |
| Advanced Training | Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Maitland Australian Approach, New York |

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
