Welcome

I was born in Vietnam and emigrated to the United States when I was five years old. I grew up in San Diego, California and attended the University California San Diego where I received my Bachelor of Science degree. I then attended Western University of Health Sciences and received my medical degree. I completed my Emergency Medicine residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, New York.

New York was a good experience, but I am happy to be back in California. I joined The Permanented Medical Group in 2003 and since that time I have been an active member of the Emergency Department. During my time spare time, I enjoy scuba diving, skiing and rock climbing.

If you have been a patient in the Emergency Department, I have included some links on this page geared towards helping with discharge instructions and providing more information on various medical conditions. I hope that you find the information provided on this page helpful.

My Credentials

Medical school College of Osteopathic Medicine of The Pacific, Pomona, CA
Internship Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, Colton, CA
Residency St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY
Board certification Emergency Medicine, Am Osteo Board of Emergency Medicine

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
