Hello, my name is Crystal Schafer. Thank you for visiting my web site. I hope that it will give you an opportunity to learn more about me, and what I can offer you for your speech therapy needs. I am in the clinic Monday through Friday. I split my time between the acute hospital setting and in the clinic seeing pediatric and adult patients.
I have been with Kaiser Permanente since May 2008. Prior to this, I worked perdiem at Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital and full-time at Rio Linda Union School District. I have worked with a wide range of speech and language patients which include stroke, tramatic brain injured, autism, cerebral palsy, dysphagia, dysarthria, mild to severe speech and language delays, genetic syndromes, stuttering, and children with severe developmental disabilities.

On a personal note, I am engaged and will be getting married in October 2009 to my fiancé Kevin. I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my cat Pumpkin. I also enjoy reading, going to art museums, gardening, and listening to music.
