Welcome to my home page!

I obtained my bachelor’s degree from SJSU with a minor in Psychology. I completed my internships at Palo Alto VA and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. I am a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist, a Certified Hand Therapist and in 2001 completed a Masters degree in business administration.

I went into Occupational Therapy because I wanted to help people on their road to recovery. I chose Kaiser because it is in my community, and it has a good reputation.

In addition to English, I am fluent in Spanish.

My interests…

  • I work closely with our Hand and Orthopedic doctors to help patients who have suffered an injury or surgery of the upper extremity.
  • On a personal note, when I’m not at work, I enjoy traveling and just relaxing at home.

My philosophy of care…

I believe patient participation and motivation are a large part of a patient’s success and recovery. I enjoy working with patients because they are interested in getting better, and their motivation level inspires me to help them accomplish this.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
