Welcome to My Home Page

To me, being a psychologist is not only my career, but as something that defines who I am as an individual. I went into this field because I believe that when people are experiencing any kind of emotional or mental pain, they need to have someone who can listen to their individual story and help them on their path to healing. I look at each of my patients not as a medical record number, but as an individual person. I truly enjoy coming to work and being able to help people on a daily basis. And, working at Kaiser Permanente allows me to best help my patients because we all work as a collaborative team, with the ability to help patients get what they need in a more efficient, holistic manner.

Prior to being at Kaiser Permanente, I was born and raised in the Bay Area. While pursuing my education, I obtained my B.A. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, where I graduated with honors. I have also earned my M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and my Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern California. While pursuing my education I have also had the opportunity to have lived in Canada, Hawaii, and Southern California. Now, I am happy to be back home in the Bay Area.

I am licensed by the California Board of Psychology (License number PSY 20435).

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
