Welcome to my Home Page!

I was born and raised in Upstate New York. I moved to Palo Alto, California in 1982 when I worked as an LVN at the Menlo Medical Clinic and for a private practice Dermatologist. I graduated from Collage of San Mateo in 1989 with an AS. Degree in nursing and I am A.C.L.S.,P.A.L.S. certified. Since 1989 I have worked in various hospitals as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Medicine. In 1990 I chose a position with Kaiser Permanente in the Emergency Department and have been with Kaiser ever since. Kaiser has not only been a great place to work, but also a great place to receive medical care for my family and myself.

My current position in the Dermatology Department is an Extended Role Registered Nurse. I am trained to perform biopsies, administer Liquid Nitrogen Treatments, and monitor patients receiving Accutane medication and treat patients receiving Ultraviolet Light Therapy.

I am pleased to have returned to Dermatology Nursing and to have joined a wonderful group of skilled physicians and knowledgeable staff. I enjoy helping our patients to feel comfortable during their visits, and hope to address their Dermatological needs.

Outside of working as an RN, I enjoy spending time with my loving husband and two young daughters. I enjoy my Yoga practice, cooking, camping/backpacking and life!

Thank you for visiting my webpage.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
