Welcome to My Home Page!

This gives me an opportunity to introduce myself to you by sharing some information about my background, education, and interests.

I was born and raised in the Bay Area. I served as an intern in the Kaiser Permanente, Walnut Creek Adolescent Chemical Dependency Department from 1997-1998 before leaving to participate in an internship and fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center with an emphasis in Neuropsychology. I returned to Kaiser Permanente, Walnut Creek in 2000.

Since 2003, I have been co-director of the Adolescent Chemical Dependency Program which includes administrative duties in addition to my clinical work. I currently work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

I am a member of the Northern California Neuropsychology Forum and the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Within Kaiser Permanente, I am a member of the Adolescent Chemical Dependency Coordinating Committee.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
