Welcome to my practice

One of my biggest childhood dreams was to become a physician, in order to help those who are less fortunate. That dream eventually led me through college, medical school and residency training. One of my passions as a doctor is patient education. I think it is very important for patients to feel empowered with the knowledge about their illness. I’m also advocating preventive medicine because I think most of the chronic illnesses today are preventable with lifestyle modifications. I will be working primarily as a hospital medicine physician and my clinical interests include, but are not limited to, cardiopulmonary, gastrointestinal, renal, and endocrine diseases.

Background

After completing my residency training in internal medicine at Los Angeles County and University of Southern California Medical Center, I decided to return home to San Jose to start my career. I chose to work for Kaiser Permanente because it is recognized as one of the leading health care providers in the area. It also provides me a flexible work schedule that allows me to find a balance between work and life.

Recommendations

As your physician, I value my relationship with you, and I know that maintaining a good relationship means being able to communicate with each other. Please be sure to register on kp.org so that we can stay in touch more easily; because the better connected we are the healthier you are.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
