Biography

I was born in Chicago and raised in Houston, Texas. I received my undergraduate degree in Biological Chemistry from Tulane University in 1996. I attended medical school at the University of Texas at Houston from 1996-2000. I then went on to complete my pediatrics residency training at University of California, Irvine. I completed my pediatric pulmonology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. I am board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Pulmonology. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008.

My Interests

My professional interests include asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, neuromuscular disease, cystic fibrosis, sleep apnea and in flexible fiberoptic bronchoscopy and pulmonary function testing. In addition to English, I speak Spanish. My personal interests include physical fitness, traveling, and cooking.
