I was born in Hong Kong but immigrated to San Francisco when I was five years old. I earned my Bachelors of Arts in Physical Therapy at San Francisco State University and proceeded to earn my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy, at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Upon graduation, I moved to San Jose and have been practicing here since.

I started my career in outpatient community practice but joined the staff here at Kaiser Santa Clara in 1997. It was a welcome return since I had previously spent one of my clinical internships at this facility, and I was already familiar with the staff and surroundings. Aside from treating patients individually, I also teach Total Hip Replacement and Spinal Conditioning groups.

Outside of physical therapy, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I especially enjoy living in the Bay Area because of the numerous and diverse restaurants here. After all, I just love to eat. I’m always open to restaurant recommendations!

An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
