Welcome to My Internet Home Page
Welcome to my home page. I look forward in getting to know you as my patient. I hope you can also learn more about me from my home page and through our visits together.
About Me
I was born in Mobile, Alabama and grew up in Detroit, Michigan. The product of a single parent household, my mother, a Registered Nurse for more than 40 years, inspired me and my siblings to strive for moral and academic excellence. I am a graduate of the University of Michigan and Wayne State Medical School, Detroit, MI. I completed my medical residency at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI.
My husband, a former National Football League (NFL) champion with Dallas Cowboys, is a pastor of a growing congregation. We are the proud parents of a beautiful daughter and another girl is on the way! Along with being a wife and mother, I enjoy exercise, gardening and gospel music. My Spanish is limited. My Philosophy of Care
The combination of my mom's encouragement, sincere love for science and concern for people has fostered my desire to become a physician. I decided to join the Kaiser Permanente family because of our commitment to staff, patients and community. Working with my patients as a team to construct a medical plan that facilitates compliance is paramount.
Thank you for visiting my home page. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I look forward to seeing you.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
