Thank you for visiting my personal Kaiser Santa Clara Department of Anesthesiology webpage. It is my goal to provide kind, thoughtful, and personalized care for you or your loved one throughout your perioperative experience.

I was born and raised in Louisiana, obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. As a Registered Nurse, I specialized in cardiac critical care and practiced in large urban hospitals located in New Orleans, Honolulu, and San Diego. My Master of Nurse Anesthesia degree was obtained from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2011.

I am nationally board certified as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthestist.

My medical interests in include spinal anesthesia and disease prevention through nutrition and lifestyle interventions. Professionaly, I have played an active role within the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists as well as the Oregon Association of Nurse Anesthetists.

In my free time I enjoy surfing, hiking, reading, biking, and spending time with friends and family.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
