About me
I grew up right here in Sacramento, and after going to various schools up and down the state, chose to return here to raise my family. I did my undergraduate work
at U.C. San Diego, and was in graduate school in Chemistry for a few years before beginning medical school at U.C. San Francisco. My first daughter was born while I was in medical school. I returned "home" for my residency at U.C. Davis to be closer to my family, and because I love the Sacramento area. I chose to practice at Kaiser Permanente, South Sacramento, because of the outstanding quality and rapport of the physicians here.
I believe in the age old adage "work hard, play hard," and maintain a variety of interests outside of medicine. To stay fit (and work off stress), I jog,
workout at a gym, and play volleyball. I am also learning to play tennis. In addition I enjoy theater, cooking, skiing, and genealogy research. I spend as
much time as I can with my husband and two children.
