Welcome to My Home Page

Welcome to my home page. There is a lot of helpful health and self care information that I incorporate into my practice. Please feel free to look them up. They are just clicks away!

About Me

I was born in Taiwan and raised in Southern California. My Doctor of Osteopathy was obtained at Midwestern University, School of Medicine, Downers Grove, IL. I then completed my internship training and my family practice residency at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, Long Beach, CA. I started with Kaiser Permanente in September 2001. I joined Kaiser Permanente because of its integrated practice model, the reputation for patient education and their focus on preventative medicine. Currently, I am a member of the American Osteopathic Association. I am interested in musculoskeletal aspect of medicine.

I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Taiwanese. In my spare time I enjoy different foods, cooking for my family, gardening, going to movies and traveling. I am married to my beautiful wife and we have two wonderful children.

I believe that the human body has a wonderful healing ability. As your physician, my role is to provide my patients with information to best utilize the available interventions for ones own body. Ultimately, my patients are able to help themselves with their body to recover and live ones life to the fullest.

An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
