Thanks for visiting my web page!

Here, you will find information about me and you can access mental health information by clicking on the links to the left. First, I will tell you a bit about me. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and am working as the Case Manager on the Adult Team in Fremont Psychiatry.

I can help individuals and families with a variety of concerns including understanding more about the impact of mental health issues on life functioning and relationships, supporting an improved quality of life and finding the resources you may need to access to better support you and your family. I enjoy work with adults of all ages and with a variety of concerns. I provide individual and group case management.

I work closely with the other clinicians, including psychiatrists, in our department so that you have access to a wide range of services including group therapy, educational classes, and treatment with medications. My goal is to provide an empathic space for you to engage in the joint evaluation of solutions to bring the return of the best mental health possible for you. We have an outstanding team and I am confident in our ability to support you and/or your family.

I completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Liberal Studies at San Francisco State University. I received my Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University. I completed a one-year Internship at San Mateo County Mental Health and finished my supervised hours working with adults with acute and persistent mental health symptoms in Santa Clara County.

On my web page you will find links to Mental Health information and to other Kaiser services. Please take a few minutes to explore the links where you will find information about depression, anxiety, substance use, sleep disturbance, and other common problems that many adults face.

I believe in the use of laughter, kindness, you as the primary resource, creating opportunities for healing, and the power of courage in supporting change.

If you need an appointment and you are new to the Psychiatry department, you will be screened by a clinician who will recommend an appropriate provider for you based on your needs. If you have seen me for treatment in the past and would like to see me again, please call the Department for an appointment. If you have had an appointment with me during the past year, you can send an email to me through your KP.Org account. To book a new or return appointment, call the clinic during regular clinic hours (Mon - Fri, 8:30am to 5:30pm) at (510) 248-3060.

Thanks again for visiting my webpage.

If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
