Welcome to My Home Page

My colleagues and I designed home pages to make it easier for you to take care of your health care needs. We've included a variety of superior online programs and health information that we have evaluated or written ourselves. Providing you with only the highest quality materials demonstrates our commitment to giving you the best quality care.

My Background

I went to high school in the small community of Friday Harbor on San Juan Island in the Puget Sound of Washington State. After graduating from Western Washington University with a Masters of Science in Biological Anthropology, I worked for a year as an Emergency Medical Technician. Once I had a taste of what medicine could do for those in need, I knew my calling.

After graduating from medical school in Syracuse, NY in 2008, I completed Emergency Medicine Residency in North Detroit in June 2011. I have been working in the Emergency Centers at both Kaiser Sacramento and Roseville since July of 2011.

Disclaimer
If you think you have a MEDICAL OR PSYCHIATRIC EMERGENCY, CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY or go to the nearest hospital. DO NOT attempt to access emergency care through this web site. An emergency medical condition is a medical or psychiatric condition that manifests itself by acute symptoms of sufficient severity (including severe pain) such that you could reasonably expect the absence of immediate medical attention to result in any of the following: serious jeopardy to your health, serious impairment to your bodily functions, or serious dysfunction of any bodily organ or part. An emergency medical condition is also "active labor," which means a labor when there is inadequate time for safe transfer to a Plan hospital (or designated hospital) before delivery or if a transfer poses a threat to the health of the member or unborn child.
